Terms, Safety Information and Limitations
If we have to cancel your flight because of weather or other reasons outside of our control, we will do our best to re-arrange your flight during your vacation if you so wish. If we are unable to do so, we will give you a full refund within five working days of the cancellation.
You can cancel your booking by calling or emailing us and if you cancel up to 30 days before your booked date you will receive a full refund. If you cancel within the final 30 days up to 12 noon the day before your booked date, we will deduct a 10% admin fee. Last minute cancellations after 12 noon the day before your booked date are not allowed. If you cancel after 12 noon the day before your booked date you will not be entitled to a refund but we will do our very best to accommodate you on another flight during your vacation. This is obviously subject to space being available and cannot be guaranteed. Failure to show up for your flight will also be treated as a last minute cancellation.
Pregnant women and people with recent surgery and/or back problems are not recommended to fly. We are not qualified to give you a medical opinion so please consult your own physician if in doubt.
Passengers weighing over 127kg (20stone/280lb) should contact us before booking. Special conditions may apply.
Children must be aged 7 or over and at least 137cm (4’6”) tall to be able to fly.
On rare occasions, we can’t fly from our chosen launch site for one reason or another. So, in order to be able to fly, the pilot will decide to move the flight to our nearest suitable backup site. If we have to change launch site for reasons outside of our control, we will write this very clearly on our Flight Status page that you will be checking the day before your flight to also see at what time the flight is called on in the morning. Although it’s rare to have to move a flight, there could be a number of reasons for doing so. It could for instance be that the intended launch field has become waterlogged after heavy rain or it could be a wind direction taking the balloon towards a large lake or a large area of dense forest, etc. The pilot’s main priority is your safety and a flight would not be moved to a backup site unless there is a very good reason to do so. Please note that you still need to show up for your booked flight even if it is moved to a backup site.
